Dashboards in Reporting

On the Reporting page, there is a DASHBOARDS tab, providing a dashboard builder, where you can create your own visualizations of all the data you have in the documentation.

Creating a new dashboard

To create a dashboard, click the "Add Dashboard" button, enter a title and choose "Private" or "Public" status.

Private report is available to creator only (marked with a padlock icon).
Public report is available to all users in view-only mode.

Then click "Add".

Actions with dashboards

Add widget

To fill the dashboard with the required grid/charts, click "Add Widget",

In the Report dropdown, select the report which data should be used in a widget.

There is an option to add either a report grid as a widget or add charts from the report as a widget to the dashboard

Add grid on dashboard - adds a widget as a grid view

Charts - one or a few charts from the list can be selected. The list represents charts from the selected report.

If you choose both grid and chart(s), several widgets will be created.

Click "Add".

Each widget is based on 1 report only, and you can add multiple widgets on your dashboard.

The widgets you add may be from multiple data sources, so that you can view aggregated information, depending on your needs.

A widget itself has a "Show more" menu with available actions: Rename, Settings, Delete.

The widgets are resizable and can be moved around the dashboard space.

Refresh a dashboard

To refresh a dashboard click the "Show more" menu on the right of the dashboard name and select "Refresh". The action updates the data on the dashboard according to the data in the report source.

Delete a dashboard

To delete a dashboard click on the "Show more" menu on the right of the dashboard name and select "Delete".

Save a dashboard

To save the changes, introduced to the dashboard, you should click the "SAVE DASHBOARD" button.

Otherwise, when you try to leave the dashboard tab, the pop-up window will appear, informing you about the unsaved changes.

The changes made to the widgets on your dashboard do not affect the respective reports in the "REPORTS" tab.

Only the creator of a dashboard can add widgets, save changes, and delete the dashboard. The other users can only view and refresh the dashboard.

Each dashboard (and report in the REPORTS tab) has its own direct current link, which can be used e.g. to add the respective bookmarks, etc.
