- YayPay does not store password history
- passwords do not expire
- there are five attempts to enter a password before the lockout
Password requirements during registration of a new user
When you add a new user to your YayPay account (also, refer to Add a new user in User Management), the link to complete the registration will be sent to the indicated user mailbox. By clicking on it he will need to enter a password and a security question.
Password must:
- be at least 8 characters long
- contain only Latin letters, numbers, and the following special symbols: !, @, #, $, %, &, -, _
- contain at least 1 number, 1 lower and 1 uppercase letter
Password requirements for existing users
To change your password, go to Settings > Profile and click Change Password (also, refer to the Profile article)
Password must:
- Be a minimum of eight (8) characters in length
- Contain at least one (1) character from there (3) of the following categories:
- Uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Lowercase letter (a-z)
- Digit (0-9)
- Special character (~‛ !@#$%^*()+=_-{}[]\|:;’ "?/>,.
